Lot of 7 bottles of Arack Zahre, a historic anise spirit brand highly regarded within the Lebanese community, often described as the "Lebanese-style pastis." Arak is one of the oldest spirits in the world and is considered Lebanon's national spirit. It is a clear, dry brandy obtained by distilling fermented grapes with the addition of anise seeds. A distinctive feature of Arak is the "louche" effect: when mixed with water or ice, the spirit turns cloudy, taking on a characteristic milky appearance caused by anethole, the essential oil of anise, which is soluble in alcohol but not in water.
