After being withdrawn from the shelves in 2004, aficionados thought they would never get another chance to taste this historic whisky, but they were wrong! Dr. Bill Lumsden, Master Distiller, has meticulously crafted this edition to mirror the original, tracing its flavour profile note for note. Aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, it has distinctly balsamic and medicinal notes, with a seductive minerality that opens into sweet smoky and malty barley notes. The peaty heart is unmistakable and discreet, with nuances of oak and cocoa.
