The engraving indicates that the vase was produced in June 1994 within the Studio Crystal workshop of Val Saint Lambert. During this period the renowned Belgian crystal manufacturer developed a series of individually hand-crafted studio pieces in which traditional crystal craftsmanship was combined with modern, minimalist design. Unlike the company's heavily cut crystal, these Studio Crystal objects celebrate the purity of form, colour and the beauty of free-blown glass.
