Fine pair of decorative Anduze-style glazed terracotta garden urns, of elegant baluster form, decorated in a rich ochre-yellow glaze.
Each urn features a broad flared rim, a bulbous body with raised undulating ornament and circular medallions, raised on a moulded and stepped pedestal foot.
Characteristic of the traditional Anduze style of southern France, these impressive urns combine classical proportions with richly decorative detailing. Particularly attractive when displayed as a matching pair, and equally suited to an elegant garden, terrace or conservatory setting.
