An exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire a complete 4-banknote set of the 1939 5 Livres / Pounds series, issued under the French Colonial Authority / French Mandate for the Levant and Middle East during the WWII period. Assembling this full set individually is extremely difficult and can take years due to the absolute scarcity of these historical overprint varieties. Finding all four distinct temporary overprints together in one single lot is a true collectors' finding. The high-resolution photographs and detailed scans form an essential part of the description and represent the exact condition of the items you will receive. Please examine them thoroughly prior to placing your bid or purchase. Please note that there is STRICTLY NO SHIPPING TO THE UNITED STATES.
