A child's tear falls into a carmine expanse mourning the loss of a single, enclosed world. He thought love was a secret to be owned, a fragile flame beneath a glass dome. To devote oneself does not mean to choose a single mirror. It means to shatter the glass and recognize your own light within the entire measureless depth. The drop dissolved into this ocean, and the tears forgot their names. Why weep over a single flower, when the beauty you saw in it was always your own? You are not a guest in this garden. You are the earth, the root, the bloom. The endless field is only Grace looking at itself. Author - Karolina Gmiterek. Technique: acrylic on board.
