Antique German silver sugar bowl, dating to around the late 19th or early 20th century.

Made of solid 800 silver, the bowl is decorated with floral patterns and has a hinged lid with a finely detailed border. It stands on small rounded feet, and the inside of the lid has a lovely golden finish.

The underside bears the German crescent and crown hallmarks, along with the 800 silver mark and a maker's mark.

The sugar bowl weighs 322 g and is in good antique condition, with some natural patina and light signs of use consistent with its age.
