Rarity , amazing and mysterious photo book from the late of 60's Japanese underground, a lysergic pictorial inspired by Beaudelaire's " Les Fleurs du Mal ", It features a cast of female characters, predominantly nude, in wrapped, theatrical poses, deployed in collaged images with graphic embellishments. ( makes me want to reread Beaudelaire ) The work also featured in cult in 1968 Japanese horror film Blind Beast, directed by Yasuzo Masumara. Hardcover with title stamped in gilt in a black board slipcase with gilt stamping., First edition, 1968, Text in Japanese with a poem in French by C . Beaudelaire . Very scarce copy Limited edition with reference card ( rare) and original poster with the great model Mako Midori naked, folded in 4 parts ( a lot of photod of her in the book ) The book stayed excellent for the age ( released in 1968) , slights traces on the book cover, small scratches on one edge of the slipcase , inside stayed excellent, few manipulated .
