This pair is often found together as they are considered the most popular of the seven. The statue shows Daikokuten seated on top of several bales of rice, symbolizing a bountiful harvest and wealth. He holds a wish-granting mallet and is accompanied by a large bag of treasure, a common attribute associated with him. Next to him is Ebisu, easily identifiable by his fishing rod and a large sea bream (tai), which is a symbol of luck and celebration.
