These so-called 'Day to Night' earrings have a drop pendant that can easily be removed. Each element of these earrings is beautifully enameled with a black and gold floral motif. The hook earrings are fashioned in a way that was typical for the early 19th Century, with a tension hook that fastens in the front, which threads through your lobe from the back to the front. Material: These earrings carry French ram's head hallmarks, indicating they were made from 18k gold in Paris, between 1819 and 1838. Condition: The earring on the right is in good condition: the earring on the right has a small repair at the top part, and repairs on the enamel of the bottom part: this can be seen in the pictures.
