The third release of the Ardnamurchan AD/ Paul Launois collaboration, also known as the 2023 Release, was bottled at 57.1% ABV and consists of Ardnamurchan single malt matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in Paul Launois champagne wine barriques. With only 2,676 bottles produced globally, this very limited annual release features intense flavors of citrus, vanilla, and spiced oak. & The Ardnamurchan Sherry Cask Release is made from unpeated and peated malt. The smoky part of the Single Malt matures in Oloroso sherry butts, the unpeated distillate in Pedro Ximénez sherry butts. This gives the creation its deep colour and a pleasantly smoky, nutty flavour profile with a maritime flair after the casks have been married.
