Nice and original RARE Coca Cola Aircraft card set of approx 1943 WW2 US Army ''Aircraft silhouette'' playing cards, with Japanese, US, German and UK plane types. This set of aircraft spotter playing cards was issued by the Coca-Cola Company during World War II. The back of the box ( and the back of all of the cards) is a Coca-Cola advertisement, showing an illustration of an uniformed girl with radio headset holding a bottle of Coca-Cola. The front side of the cards include World War II aircraft from Germany, Italy, Japan, Great Britain, and the United States. According to the information card, these cards were prepared by Coke to "assist you in learning the characteristics of United Nations and Enemy Aircraft." Both the box and deck are in in nice shape given its approx. 80 years age, nevertheless please carefully look at all of the attached photo's as they are part of the item description. This particular deck of cards is 100% WW2, probably around 1942/1943 given the model airplanes which are discussed, which makes it great for a WW2 GI display. The game would help GI's in recognizing friendly and enemy planes. All the playing cards are there; even complete with the instruction card.
