Extrmely rare early example of a greek poster celebrating International Workers' Day, also known as May Day. Produced by the P.O.P.-O.T.A founded in 1957, a trade union based in Athens. The poster calls for respect for the heroes of the working class, new achievements, and peace and progress and is estimated to originate from the 1950s or 1960s. Paper is extremely thin and delicate but remains in good condition with some minor tears on one edge (see photos). An excellent lot for someone interested in political history.
