Estate Information: Château Mauvesin
Château Mauvesin, located in Moulis in the Médoc, has belonged to the same family for nearly five centuries. The château was then sold to another great Bordeaux family, Barton-Sartorius, who for eight generations had owned the châteaux of Léoville-Barton and Langoa-Barton, the Second and Third Classified Crus of Saint-Julien. Since the 2011 vintage, the château has been called Mauvesin-Barton. Since its acquisition by the family, the cru has continued to grow in popularity.
