Prime Minister of unified Italy in 1861 and 1866, he was also the founder of the newspaper "La Nazione," an agricultural experimenter, and the "father" of the first Chianti wine regulations. In producing this wine, we sought to interpret his wishes, focusing on those elements that most closely recall the style of the time. The extensive use of Sangiovese, unfiltered, and the aging in large barrels have given rise to this wine, distinguished by its remarkable elegance and character.
