Each POPCHIP is a unique, hand-painted artwork on a small canvas, mixing my double-stencil technique with an instinctive and expressive background. This collection was also designed with a modular spirit: every POPCHIP can stand alone as an artwork, but several pieces can be combined to form a larger visual ensemble — like a personal mosaic. Collectors can build their own composition based on what resonates with them: mountains, love, mythology, animals, or pop culture. Each POPCHIP remains an original artwork, never a print, offering an accessible entry point into my artistic world while retaining the same craftsmanship and authenticity as my larger pieces. --- ABOUT THE ARTWORK This POPCHIP pays tribute to Salvador Dalí, whose eccentric gaze and unmistakable mustache have become symbols of surrealism itself. I amplified the expressive tension of his eyes through sharp stencil contrasts, letting the whites and blacks carve out the intensity of his stare. The textured red background adds a sense of agitation and dreamlike chaos, echoing Dalí’s imaginative universe while contrasting with the precision of the stencil work. In this miniature format, the portrait becomes a concentrated burst of surrealist energy — a collectible fragment honoring one of the most fascinating figures in modern art. --- ABOUT THE ARTIST I’m Alexandre Petrus, a French stencil artist blending instinct and precision.
