Bohemia - Jarra - Cristal - Vaso de cor âmbar

Exquisite Bohemian Amber Flashed & Engraved Crystal Vase. A stunning example of Bohemian "cut-to-clear" artistry, this vessel showcases the rich, golden warmth of amber flashing—a technique perfected in the glassworks of Northern Bohemia (modern-day Czech Republic). The piece features intricate intaglio engraving, where the artisan has carved through the amber surface to reveal the brilliant clear crystal beneath, creating a striking three-dimensional contrast. Design: Delicate floral and foliate motifs, hand-engraved with exceptional precision. Refinement: The rim is finished with a burnished gold trim, adding a touch of regal elegance to the warm amber tones. Craftsmanship: Hand-blown and hand-cut crystal, showing the high refractive quality typical of authentic Bohemian glass. Condition: Offered in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, or significant wear to the gilding (only minor wear at some points. See the last photo) —a rare find for glassware of this age. Height: 13.3 cm Diameter: 8.2 cm Material: Lead Crystal with Amber Stain (Flashing) and 24K Gold Detailing. Origin: Northern Bohemia, Czech Republic. This style is most famously associated with the Egermann glassworks in Nový Bor, though several high-end workshops in the region produced similar luxury "Spa glass" and cabinet pieces. Estimated Age: Late 19th to Early 20th Century (Circa 1890–1920). The refined floral engraving and the specific shade of silver-chloride amber stain are characteristic of the Late Victorian or Art Nouveau periods in Central Europe. This piece is a 'cabinet gem.' Its diminutive yet sturdy proportions make it a perfect display item. The amber flash technique, invented by Friedrich Egermann in the 1830s, remains one of the most celebrated innovations in glass history. To find a piece from this era in such pristine, 'perfect' condition is an excellent opportunity for serious collectors of European art glass. Shipping with track and trace.Of course very carefully and safe packaged.Item can be picked up in Ekeren (Antwerpen,Belgium).
