Mesa de chá - Madeira, Osso - Oriente Médio - Início do século XX
A finely crafted tea table dating to the early 20th century, made from walnut wood and richly decorated with entirely hand-carved details.
The piece features an octagonal structure composed of eight vertical panels, each individually adorned with a combination of arabesque motifs, geometric patterns, and carved calligraphic elements. Decorative inlays, likely bone or mother-of-pearl, are set into both the body and the top, adding contrast and refinement to the overall design.
The lower section is formed by slender legs incorporating arched openings, contributing to both visual lightness and a distinct architectural character. These arches are reminiscent of traditional Islamic architectural forms found in the Levant region.
The top is octagonal and intricately carved with a central star motif, surrounded by geometric patterns that harmonize with the overall design of the piece.
This table represents a fine example of early 20th century Levantine decorative woodwork, notable for its craftsmanship, detail, and authenticity.
The photographs form an integral part of the description. Dimensions are clearly visible in the final images.
