A refined French silver cup and napkin ring set, Paris, early 20th century.
Both pieces are executed in 950 standard silver,
struck with the Minerva 1st standard hallmark and a master’s mark.
The cup is adorned with a fine guilloché pattern accented by undulating bands,
harmoniously echoed in the decoration of the napkin ring.
Such sets, uniting elegance with practical refinement, were highly prized objects
in the French tradition of tableware.
Dimensions: cup 7.7 × 6.8 cm; napkin ring 3 × 4.5 cm. Combined weight: 124.2 g.
