Color pictorial label on front cover within a hexagonal blind panel, color pictorial endpapers (Quinby Plate X), plain title vignette and 26 colour plates, all by the author. Publisher's grey/blue boards, spine and front cover lettered in white (Linder p.429; Quinby 18). Ink gift inscription on front endpaper to first owner. Spine ends and corners a little rubbed and bumped. A very small tear to front board towards upper right corner. Small scuffs to spine front and back. A very little discoloured boards. Small fading stain front board, towards left upper corner. Small stains on back board towards lower corners. Minor to none shelf lean. Very good hinge inside, pages holding together perfectly.
