The reverse follows the common Eurozone design with the twelve stars of the European Union, while the obverse highlights iconic Italian national designs drawn from Italy’s rich artistic, historical, and cultural heritage. Special feature: • 2010 includes the €2 commemorative coin featuring Dante Alighieri, based on a portrait by Raphael. This coin celebrates one of Italy’s most influential literary figures and is a key highlight of the set. All coins are uncirculated BU quality, carefully preserved in their original packaging, and were not released into circulation.
