This is a classic late 19th / early 20th century Swiss timepiece, featuring the well-known Roskopf-type escapement, designed for durability and reliable everyday use.

The inner case is engraved with “Véritable Échappement Roskopf” and promotional medal inscriptions, typical of Roskopf-system watches of this period. It is also marked “M1 Chronomètre”.
