An atmospheric art-glass vase designed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda in the 1970s. The vase has a rounded body with a wide rim and a heavy form. The surface has a stunning satin iridescent finish that shifts between deep blue, violet, green, and golden tones when it hits the light. The lower part glows in blue and purple, and the upper body moves into smoky green and bronze hues. The texture is matte with a metallic shimmer. The base is signed "Kosta, B. Vallien" and the serial number. There is a small mark on the body, nothing serious. Apart from this, the vase is in very good vintage condition.
