Signed on the plate lower right margin.
L'Estampe Moderne's blind stamp on the bottom left corner.
Dimensions:
+Size of the sheet : 30,5 x 40 cm / 12 x15,7 in.
+Size of the image : 24 x 34,5 cm / 9,4 x 13,5 in.
Condition : In overall good condition, with soft handling creases and some minor stains in the margins. Two minor tears on the right margin. Image very clean otherwise. Tipped-on paper. Not framed.

Not unlike the Maitre de L'Affiche series, L'Estampe Moderne was a portfolio printed between 1897-98, published by Imprimerie Champenois, Paris, contained 24 monthly portfolios, with four original lithographs in each. Each was commissioned only for this series.
As well as Mucha, some of the contributing artists included Rhead, Meunier, Ibels, Steinlen, Willette and Grasset.
