An ancient heirloom Javanese kris with a silver pendok weighing give or take 106 grams already featuring the Dapur Singo Barong, with 5 Luk (waves), and Ngulit Semongko pamor represents a highly regarded, powerful, and aesthetically rich blade, often originating from Java (Mataram era) This specific combination merges spiritual protection, high-ranking authority, and prosperity symbolism. Length ca. 47 cm 1. Dapur Singo Barong (Blade Shape) Description: "Singo" means lion, and "Barong" refers to the mythical protective creature in Indonesian folklore. The gandik (base of the blade) is carved into a seated lion figure with its mouth open. Symbolism: It symbolizes royal authority, courage, high social status, and a powerful shield against negative influences or evil. Significance: It is considered a pusaka(heirloom) that provides strength and leadership abilities to its owner. 2. 5 Luk (Waves) Description: The blade has five waves (curves), usually counting from the base up to the tip. Symbolism: Traditionally, 5 luk represents the harmony of the five elements and the senses. It embodies a balance between dynamic energy and calm, and is often favored for attracting good fortune. 3.
