Bric du Luv is one of the historic labels of Ca’Viola, the small Langhe winery founded by winemaker Beppe Caviola in Montelupo Albese. In its early years Bric du Luv was bottled as Langhe Rosso and made mainly from Barbera with a share of Pinot Noir from hillside vineyards around Montelupo Albese. The wine is aged in oak and designed for long ageing, showing with time complex notes of dark cherries, plum, underbrush, spice and balsamic hints, with a full‑bodied, savoury palate and vibrant acidity.
