A limited release from Glenmorangie's Private Edition series, born from Dr. Bill Lumsden's memories of cake and finished in rare Hungarian Tokaji dessert wine casks. The result is something genuinely distinctive: a nose of passion fruit, peach, pear and mango Keg N Bottle, giving way to complex flavours of apricot danish, pound cake, milk chocolate and marzipan Flaviar, and finishing with a warm note of marmalade on shortbread Flaviar. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, no age statement. Tokaji cask finishes are rare in Scotch — this is one of the more unusual expressions in Glenmorangie's catalogue and a collector's piece from their now-discontinued Private Edition lineup. Bottle is sealed and in perfect condition.
