This linocut originates from a highly regarded suite first released by Galerie Louise Leiris in 1960, initially in a limited signed edition of only 50 copies. In 1963, under the direct supervision and collaboration of Pablo Picasso himself and Galerie Louise Leiris, a new set of linoleum plates was created at precisely 42% of the original size.
