Mintage: 5,426,000 pieces. KM: 2807 1907 (1 piece): A rarer year in the series, shortly before the jubilee issues. Mintage: 1,637,000 pieces. KM: 2807 1909 (1 piece): The circulation version with the traditional coat of arms reverse. Mintage: 1,341,000 pieces. KM: 2813 2. Franz Joseph 60th Anniversary 5 Korona (1908) KM:2809 (Special commemorative coin: the figure of “Running Fortune” can be seen on the reverse) 1908 Jubilee (2 pieces): A coin of outstanding artistic value issued for the monarch’s diamond jubilee (1848–1908). Mintage: 5,002,000 pieces. Text of the edge inscription: VIRIBVS VNITIS This was Franz Joseph’s personal motto, which symbolized the unity of the peoples and countries of the empire, the idea of ​​a unified Monarchy. The text is not raised, but indented (punched). The words are separated by arabesque decorations and small stars. In numismatics, the condition of the edge and the accuracy of the inscription are one of the most important factors in determining authenticity. On the coins offered, this inscription guarantees the Austrian mintage of the period. Significance: The collection covers the most important period of the Austrian 5 kronor. The doubling of the jubilee edition, which is considered one of the most beautiful Austrian coins, is particularly valuable, as is the 1907 vintage, which was sought after by collectors due to its lower number of copies.
