Caixa de chá - Porcelana - Kangxi (1662-1722)
Lovely blue-and-white Chinese porcelain tea caddy, made in Jingdezhen during the Kangxi period (1662–1722). The vessel is decorated with a floral motif featuring carnations. The decoration is executed in a lovely deep blue. The hallmarked silver mount, bearing a sword mark, is a later Dutch addition dating to the early 20th century.
Condition: very good, with only a few minor chips around the base (see photographs).
