Epiphone by Gibson. chic MOP inlays at the headstock. Both brands Gibson and epiphone are inlaid! Great looking smooth dark red (with sparkles) finish. All original. mods were done to further guarantee smoother trem action and tuning stability- all can be brought back with just simple part changes. All the original parts are provided with the guitar. Mods: -Original tuning machines upgraded to Planet waves locking and self cutting set. Maintaning the original look, these work great. -Locking top nut (situated after the nut actually) removed. -Mini screws used as fine tuners at the bridge removed (once the tuning machines are locking type and the nut is lubricated, they are not needed & tuning stability is %100!) Original Steinberger locking trem system. Perfect, no chewy parts or worn out bits. No route out at the back, settings can be done via a lever on the bridge. The bridge and neck humbuckers have good loud and clear biting tone, coil tap via tone pot push-pull brings in bright & snappy single coil tones, with less gain of course. These 80s Select by EMG pickups are nothing like the later ones, great genuine tones, smooth ceramic magnet vibes, very versatile. No breaks/cracks nor repairs. Neck straight, tross rod works OK. Only has a couple of mini dings , at some mini parts clearcoat discoloration (normal to age)and light scratches on top , all documented on the photos.I cannot get all the scratches of the top on the photos, but this does not interfere with the overall look of the guitar. A pro buff-out would clean them all to perfection. Original set-in trem arm included as well. Recently has been cleaned, set-up.Strings are 010-46 Fender semi-new set. Comes with a basic ESP gigbag, like new. will be very well packed in carboard box. International shipping is available.
