Descrição fornecida pelo vendedor

This rare panoramic stereoscopic camera was produced by Lucien LeRoy in Paris between 1905 and 1912. This charming model features a rotating lens that allows to create panoramas or stereoscopic images. The camera is equipped with two Protar F8/82mm lenses. The shutter loads smoothly. Shutter speeds 1 to 5 work. Bulb mode works also (shutter is in lower left side). The shutter release button fires both shutters simultaneously perfectly. A film magazine for glass plate is included.
Can't say if in panoramic mode camera works as it is expected to do. Lenses apertures don't work and there is a some dust inside both lenses. The spirit level is missing.

The Leroy stereoscopic panoramic camera was a high-quality camera and, at the time, was the first to produce both 6 x 6 cm stereoscopic images and 6 x 13 cm panoramic images.

The name of this camera comes from its ability to move from a stereo position to a panoramic one by moving one of the two lens. The latter is mounted on a circular plate, whose rotation causes the retraction of the inner separation wall, which allows to bring the lens to the center of the film. The other lens are fixed.
The viewfinder is very special. It allows to aim in the right frame (from the photographer's point of view) by setting as the reticle the hole at the end of the tab for the stereo. In panoramic position, it is the small hole in the median part of the large viewfinder which serves as a reticle. The reticle is always the hole located at the vertical of the lens that is moving.
