Descrição fornecida pelo vendedor

Offered here is a beautiful Japanese Noh mask, hand-carved from wood and dating from the Taisho to early Showa period (circa 1910s–1950s).

This mask represents a serene young female character in the style of the traditional "Ko-omote" type, characterized by its delicate expression, refined features, and subtle elegance. The softly carved contours, narrow eyes, and gentle smile embody the timeless aesthetic of Japanese Noh theater.

The mask is entirely hand-carved from wood and finished with traditional pigments. It displays excellent craftsmanship and would make an attractive addition to any collection of Japanese art, theater memorabilia, masks, or Asian antiques.

A wonderful decorative and collectible piece reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Japan.
