Nijinohebi - Ay-o - Japão (Sem preço de reserva)

Nijinohebi 虹のへび(にじのへび) | Ay-o 靉嘔(あいおう) Ay-o has been pursuing an expression that destroys the outlines of paintings and replaces all motifs with the rainbow spectrum colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet) since the 1960s. In this "hebi," the body of a snake, a creature of the natural world, is reconstructed with a precise and vivid rainbow-colored gradation. In Ay-o's artistic view, there is an ideology that "lines and shapes belong to the past, and what remains is only 'color'." While borrowing the shape of a specific creature, a snake, the energy and rhythm of color, which he emphasizes the most, are pushed forward throughout the screen.
