Descrição fornecida pelo vendedor
I would deliver a superb marine oil painting of sailing vessels navigating the Goodwin Sands in a gale, off the Thames Estuary, by listed British artist William P Rogers, active 1842-1883. The Goodwin Sands light vessel marking the danger to all sailing ships. Signed by the artist bottom right.
The painting measures 73 x 48 cm with the frame 88 x 64 cm.
Condition of the paintings is good. Please view all pics for accurate condition. Relined. Later frame. Ready to hang.
Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only.
Due to Brexit, there are delays at EU customs borders though the situation is improving. Please do not blame me for delays or any customs duty payable. I really appreciate your understanding and patience. Steve.
