His major works were created in the 1960s and 70s, when he commissioned numerous nude and landscape photographs that were revolutionary for their time. From the 1970s onward, he devoted himself to lyrical nudes loosely inspired by classical mythology. Regarding his working methods, he photographed on FOMA film, which he developed in Rodinal. At certain points in his career, he employed the technique of enlarging multiple superimposed negatives (the so-called "sandwich") or the percussive effects of photography. He received the prestigious MFIAP Award, presented by the International Federation of Art Photography.
