This is a First Edition Thus copy, of Charles Dickens' classic; "Great Expectations". The title was first published in 3 volume book-form in 1861 and this, half-leather over marbled boards copy, dates from around 1890. The book is in Good condition, and displays beautifully. It would make a great addition to any private library or collection.
CONDITION & FEATURES
- Good overall condition
- Victorian printing, undated - circa 1890
- Half-Leather over Marbled Boards
- 8 Tipped-in black & white plates
- Pages & plates are mostly straight & clean - a little occasional wear
- Text-block is complete
- Binding and Hinges are secure - rear external hinge is starting to crack
- Boards & Spine are generally clean - some minor wear & marking
- No Names or Scribbles
