This specimen is a fossil skull fragment of a saber-toothed cat type, preserving part of the upper skull/maxilla with a prominent curved canine tooth and several associated teeth. The large saber-like canine gives the piece a powerful and dramatic appearance, making it an impressive fossil specimen for display or collection.
The fossil is preserved together with natural matrix from Gansu Province, China. The specimen shows a three-dimensional structure, with visible natural cracks, mineral staining, matrix adhesion and age-related surface wear. These features give the piece a natural and authentic fossil appearance.
Please note that this is an incomplete skull fragment, not a complete skull. Some areas may have been stabilized or restored, which is common for fragile fossil specimens. The condition can be clearly seen in the photos.
