The artwork depicts a snow-covered traditional gassho thatched farmhouse at dusk. A winding path stretches quietly across the snowfield, with warm light glowing from the building. Distant mountains and trees fade into the evening sky, creating a peaceful and poetic winter landscape. The lithograph is enhanced with hand-painted watercolour, delivering soft, blended layers of snow and capturing the tranquil aesthetic of Japanese rural scenery. In Japanese aesthetics, the evening snow motif Bosetsu (暮雪) symbolises purity and peaceful mountain dwelling, a classic landscape theme with calming artistic appeal. The print features the limited edition number, handwritten title, pencil signature and artist seal. An artist profile card and artwork registration label are attached to the backboard. The mounting is sealed, therefore the reverse of the print cannot be photographed. Supplied with its original wooden frame and acrylic glazing. As a result of long-term storage, the frame shows minor rubbing and wear, natural dust accumulation inside the frame, and slight damage to the backing paper. The print exhibits subtle age-related toning. Overall condition is good relative to its age.
