‘shine on you crazy diamond’ is a painting inspired by the emotional and spiritual landscape of the album ‘Wish you were here’ by Pink Floyd. This work inhabits a space between figuration and abstraction, where suspended bodies drift through undefined atmospheres, detached from gravity and fixed narratives. The human form emerges and dissolves simultaneously, becoming a vessel for longing, vulnerability, desire, and transcendence. Rather than portraying specific individuals, the figure exists as emotional presences, caught in a perpetual state of becoming. It explores the fragile threshold between corporeal existence and spiritual ascent, where memory, love, loss, and beauty remain suspended in a state of luminous uncertainty. ABOUT THE ARTIST Jaume Muñoz (Barcelona, 1977) is a poet, painter and photographer. In his work, he explores the expressive possibilities of abstract painting, placing himself at the crossroads of chaos and order. His painting process is based on free abstract improvisation. He began painting while living in Egypt, in the open painting workshops at the Townhouse Gallery, Cairo. He held his first exhibitions there in 2007. For years, he attended the summer art residency and auction sale at the Association Saint Henri, Castelnaudary (France).
