A matching pair of English brass candlesticks with beehive-shaped sections, faceted decorative knops and square bases with chamfered corners.

Both candlesticks are stamped “ENGLAND / RD 223580”. This registered design number dates the design to 1893. The pair is estimated to date from the late 19th or early 20th century; the precise manufacturing date is unknown.

The candlesticks feature internal candle ejector rods. Their operation has not been tested.

Measurements:
- Height: approximately 30 cm each.
- Base: approximately 10 × 10 cm each.
- Individual weights: 459 g and 440 g.
- Combined weight: 899 g.

Condition: used antique condition, with patina, surface scratches, areas of discolouration and minor irregularities to the rims. The iron components underneath show rust. Please examine the photographs carefully for the condition and details.

The lot comprises two candlesticks. They will be individually protected, securely packed and shipped with tracking.
