Descrição fornecida pelo vendedor
Up for auction is a vintage Leitz Wetzlar Leicina 8SV 8mm movie camera, manufactured in Germany by Leica in the 1960s. This is a highly engineered, premium piece of film history equipped with a sharp Leitz zoom lens.
Condition & Testing:
• Mechanical & Electronic: Fully Tested and Working. The camera was tested using an original Leitz ST1 electronic control unit via the side multi-pin socket. The micro-motor starts instantly, runs smoothly, and correctly switches speeds between 16 and 24 fps.
• Optical Condition: The viewfinder is clear and the lens glass is in good vintage condition, free from major scratches [Note: Please adjust if you see minor dust/haze].
• Cosmetic Condition: Good overall condition with minor signs of age and wear consistent with its era (please refer to the high-resolution pictures for exact details).
Important Note for Collectors:
The internal plastic AA battery holder is missing from the battery compartment. However, the camera remains 100% operational when powered externally through the side 9-pin terminal (using an ST1 controller or an external 6V regulated DC power supply). This makes it a perfect body replacement or a great project piece for someone who already owns Leicina accessories.
Please note: This auction includes the camera body only, as seen in the photos. The Leitz ST1 controller used for testing is NOT included.
