This is the sought-after version with the diagonally finished rear side.
Thanks to this clever notch it fits the balance device seamlessly on larger camera housings (such as the Nikon F4, F5, D800 series, etc.) without colliding with the grip or bottom of the camera.

Camera- & Lens mount: Nikon AI / AI-S bayonet (Nikon F-mount).
Rear side (AS design):
Equipped with a diagonally sloping recess (Schräg / Slanted) at the bottom of the rear block.
This provides extra physical space, so the device fits without problems on cameras with a thick grip or battery grip (such as the Nikon F4, F5, D800 series, etc.).
Material:
High-quality anodized aluminum (matte black) with chromed steel guide rails.

Macro- & Adjustment range:
Minimum extension (Bellows retracted): 50 mm [1, 2] (this determines the minimum magnification achievable with a lens).
Maximum extension (Bellows fully extended): 130 mm [1, 2] (for extreme macro magnifications).
Adjustment travel of the adjustment rail: 65 mm [1, 2] (this moves the entire set forward or backward on a tripod to very accurately focus without changing the magnification factor).
Signal & Function Transfer:
Mechanical diaphragm coupling: Fully built-in.
The device supports automatic aperture (the diaphragm closes only when the photo is taken) and open-aperture metering (offenblendmessung) via the internal mechanical lever.
No electronic EXIF data or autofocus signals are transmitted.
Lens compatibility:
Fully compatible with manual Nikon AI and AI-S lenses, as well as older AF lenses with a physical diaphragm ring. Not suitable for Nikon G-type or E-type lenses, as they do not have a physical diaphragm ring to set manually. [1, 2]
