(stylised on screen as F•I•S•T) is an American film directed by Norman Jewison, released in 1978. Stallone plays a Cleveland warehouse worker who becomes involved in the union leadership of the fictional ‘Federation of Interstate Truck Drivers’ (F.I.S.T.). The film is loosely based on the Teamsters union and their former president Jimmy Hoffa. The screenplay was written by Joe Eszterhas and Stallone, based on a story by Eszterhas. Kovács' breakthrough came with the 1969 film Easy Rider, starring and directed by Dennis Hopper. Kovács was reluctant to work on this film at first, having already worked on a number of B-grade biker films, such as Hells Angels on Wheels. Hopper eventually convinced Kovács that this film would be different, and Kovács signed on as the film's director of photography. Shipping by Colissimo
