A very pretty pair of Antique Sterling Silver table candlesticks, in a Neoclassical Corinthian style having square bases with hand-chased swags, ribbons and bows, and bead-edged borders, with original removable nozzles and semi closed bases. Made between Victorian and Edwardian era. Made in Sheffield, 1901 Made by Mappin & Webb Ltd (renowed and well known silversmiths) Fully English hallmarked for sterling silver. The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made silver candlesticks are: Length 31 cm Wide at base 12.8 x 12.8 cm Approx. 1268 + 1269 = 2537 grams (Bruto weight; filled for balance, weighted with materials other than silver) (scones weight is 75 grams together). Condition: Good condition. One has a lean to one side (depending how you position it). Lots of tinyy pinprick indentations here and ther but mainly on the base rim. One top corner underneath the scone is pressed downwards 4 mm. Both scones have some usermarks, not completely square. Look at my other adverts for more quality silver.
