It is said that "Heita" is a replica of the face of Egara Heita Tanenaga, a warrior of the Kamakura period, and represents the standard for a man's face. This mask is specially used for the ghosts of fierce warriors, such as "Tamura" (the spirit of Sakanoue Tamuramaru), "Yashima" (the spirit of Minamoto no Yoshitsune), and "Quiver" (the spirit of Kajiwara Genta Kageyoshi) in the Shuramono series. The costume worn by the wearer of this mask is a black kimono with a pear-shaped eboshi hat and a white headband, and the kimono is thick wood, happi coat, and hankiri coat.
