High-relief carved wood with vegetal decoration of scrolls, volutes, and floral motifs, arranged in two square panels framed and separated by a central upright. Perimeter molding carved with leaves and flowers. Plain reverse with visible joinery structure. Style: Late Baroque / Early Rococo. Chronology: Late 17th – first half of the 18th century. Probable cultural area: Western Europe, with strong affinities to the Hispanic, Italian, or southern French traditions. The symmetrical vegetal motif and deep carving suggest workshops influenced by the Mediterranean Baroque style. Each panel features high-relief carved vegetal decoration, consisting of: - Symmetrical scrolls and volutes. - Central floral motifs (rosettes). - Fleshy leaves of naturalistic inspiration. A keyhole is visible in the upper center, suggesting its possible original use as: a chest front, cabinet, cupboard, or storage unit, or perhaps as an architectural panel integrated into a larger piece of furniture. It exhibits an antique patina and wear consistent with its age. It possibly belonged to the front of a chest or an element of architectural furniture. Measures: 81 x 40 x 2 cm. / Total relief: 5 cm.
