As this is an old print, there is some slight fading due to aging. There are also tape marks on the back from framing. Located at the foot of Higashiyama, it was once connected to the imperial family, and its grounds reflect a refined sense of traditional Japanese beauty. This artwork portrays one of Shōren-in’s great camphor trees spreading its branches over a stone pathway. The bright green leaves catch the sunlight, creating a soft, peaceful glow.
