Elegant hand-blown art glass vase in vibrant green glass, featuring a thick clear glass base with a centrally embedded controlled air bubble. The vase has a tall cylindrical form with smooth walls and a polished rim. The combination of coloured glass and clear sommerso-style base is characteristic of Italian studio glass production from the mid-20th century. The base shows natural bubbles and minor inclusions consistent with handmade glass. This piece was produced as a decorative object and displays strong modernist design influences. There is also a small mark towards the base that looks like 2 lines side by side. I’m not sure if it is a maker’s mark or something that happened while it was made.
