Gold & Enamel Double Case Verge Fusee Watch

Exceptional late 18th century gold and enamel watch housed in a double case.

The outer case in 20k yellow gold, decorated to the reverse with finely executed polychrome enamel. Interior smooth and fitted with winding check.
Inner case in 18k gold.

Signed white enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, Arabic minute numerals and minute track — the dial preserved in excellent, flawless condition.

Signed verge fusee movement, featuring a chased and pierced English-style cock with single foot and setting disc.

The watch is in good working order.

Minor stone losses to the outer case, commensurate with age.

Accompanied by its 18k gold winding key.
